Android Smartphone Sprint HTC Hero



The Sprint HTC Hero was just released and runs on both Android and Sprint’s own EV-DO Rev. It offers access to business and personal email, GPS navigation, full-song downloads from the Amazon MP3 Store, integrated Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, Visual Voicemail, stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 32 GB, 5 megapixel camera with camcorder, a full HTML Web browser, and a library full of applications through Android Market. The phone itself is 4.46” x 2.22” and has a 3.2 HVGA TFT touch screen display with a virtual keyboard and trackball navigation, Accelerometer, Digital Compass and Light Sensor. The HTC Hero is available for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract.
