Mercedes-Benz Zoltán Glass Photographs

Zoltán Glass is a name that you probably have never heard of. But he was a very influential automotive photographer, especially for Mercedes-Benz during the 1920’s and 1930’s. The National Media Museum in the UK has decided to digitize over 6,000 of his images for display and future historical editorial work. They will turn all his photos in to high resolution and will be available for us during April of 2010. Classic car pictures will never get dated, if that makes sense. Its not just the car even. Its the surroundings, who’s driving, what style, and the timing. Each picture tells its own story, from a race. to a first off the line, to a trip or rare design. Didn’t mean to rhyme. Anyway, it should be a very interesting project.
