I beg to differ. We as a people need to stop listneing to the brain washing. Braids were fisrt shun in slavery days as a "nigger" style of hair. Now the africans themselves have been so brainwashed for so long that they too think its wrong to have them either young or period. Braids are just like having dreds(locks), the only difference is white ppl love dreds bcuz they love Bob Marley and except dreds as a cultural thing and think that you are a Rosta if you have them. The min a black person sings it up and makes white ppl like them and that person wears braids it would then be excepted.
