Although once a prestigious beach resort, Asbury Park, New Jersey is now primarily known for prostitutes, drug dealers, and gang wars; however, it still remains a worldwide attraction. The famous mural Tillie has been seen in The Sopranos and even Pro skater Brian Wenning [NJ-native] took a picture of the beach friendly face for a feature in The Skate Mag. And yes, the world famous venue The Stone Pony puts Asbury in the limelight forever. Apparently, Nike did their homework [as usual] and decided to devote a shoe to the lone Casino Skatepark located in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Casino was originally, well, not a Casino. In typical weird New Jersey fashion, it was a theater and amusement center which featured a twisted/ghoulish face [after jump] and inspired the colors of this dunk. See more photos after the jump. Stay tuned for more info. See a clip of some skaters shredding inside the Casino here. The park recently closed down, but I heard that it might rise from the dead [wink, wink].
