NEW SUPER CAR - The Scuderia Bizzarrini p538

The new Scuderia Bizzarrini P538 prototype is a jaw-dropping, Italian super car which borrows its chassis from the Galmer Arbitrage GT chassis which is a Thai super car. Powering the Scuderia Bizzarini is a 7.0 liter Chevrolet LS7 which develops 505 hp, 6200 rpm and 475 lb-ft 4800.The super car was conceived by German designer Stefan Schulz.

The New P538 will be available for viewing at Italy"s famous Nardo Ring high-speed test track in November of 2008.

Like the Arbitrage, and following the spirit of the original Corvette-powered P538S, the new Bizzarrini prototype is powered by a mid-mounted Chevrolet LS7 V8. Bodywork is suitably stunning, looking something like a cross between a Lotus, a Koenigsegg and a Porsche Carrera GT, but with its own unique flavor. Although it does not seem that Giotto Bizzarrini was involved in the project himself, he is said to have given his approval.
